Recruitment Process
For every vacancy, we take a full Job Description & Person Specification from the Client. In addition and where possible, we will visit the Client company to obtain a thorough understanding of the job purpose, the environment, company structure and culture.
Next, we undertake a full search of our own internal candidate database, as well as utilising a number of specialist and generalist online databases, to identify suitable candidates. In addition, discreet advertising is carried out to maximise the availability of a suitable “talent pool” to select the highest quality candidates from.
A full and structured telephone interview is conducted to assess candidate suitability, availability and expectations. If at this stage, the candidate and job criteria match, we will arrange to meet with the candidate, where possible, to go through finer details, before compiling a CV. We make the decision as to Candidate suitability, based on Client criteria and then forward appropriate CV’s to the client. However, we only forward a candidate CV if the Candidate is happy for us to do so.
We will arrange first interviews for successful CV’s. We debrief both candidate and client, post interview, providing feedback to all parties involved. We then arrange second interviews for successful candidates, as applicable.
Following second interview, we debrief both candidate and client, providing feedback to both parties. We then facilitate the negotiation of any offers made by the client, to the successful candidate, coordinating the entire process from verbal and written offer stage, through to candidate acceptance and commencement of employment. We keep in contact with both candidate and client during the notice period, dealing with any issues that may arise, including any counter offers.
On commencement of employment, we then keep in contact with both candidate and client for a period of 3 months, as part of our commitment to customer service excellence. We do this to ensure that both parties are happy with progress during this crucial part of the new relationship.
If any issues arise during this period, we take a pro-active, but sensitive approach to negotiating a mutually beneficial outcome for candidate and client. We check progress with both candidate and client at the end of Day 1, Week 1, Month 1, Month 2 and finally at the end of Month 3.
